About Me
Hi everyone, my name is Meredith Pearman! I'm 19 years old and I have a little brother, Jack, that just turned 13. I was born in Walnut Creek, California and moved cross-country to Oak Ridge, North Carolina in 2007 with my family, two dogs, horse and fish. The lifestyle change from the busy atmosphere of California to the laid-back, quietness of North Carolina was difficult but I have grown to appreciate it.
I'm currently a sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I spent my freshman year at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida but quickly realized Boca wasn't the place for me (despite the beautiful weather). I absolutely love Charlotte and all the diversity it has to offer and things to do. As of now, I'm working towards the completion of my Pre-Business requirements so that I can declare my major in Finance. I have no idea what I want to be or what type of job I want as a career, but I do know that I enjoy learning about business.
Traveling and my recently adopted pup are the two things that help me remember to "live a little" during this insanely crazy and trying point in my life. Just a couple weeks ago, I rescued a black German Shepherd and Husky mix named Axel and he has been the best addition to my life.
I enjoy getting on planes, taking 13 hour car rides or just a day trip to experience and see something new. My favorite places to travel to are historic areas and your average "sight-seeing" shindigs. No matter the length of the trip, I'm usually ready to go with Go-Pro in hand!
